I guess snow at the end of February is better than nothing. We got 2 days of riding here in Fond du lac County that was actually better than I expected it would be. I hope you got a chance to get out and enjoy the trails.

The February meeting will be held on Monday, February 6thth, 7:00 pm at the clubhouse at 408 Fond du Lac Street Mt. Calvary WI.

We are less than a week from the Feb 4th 2023 Sno Bol Vintage Show at Kiekhaefer Park in St Peter. We may not have enough snow to open the trails but the forecast is showing we are not going to lose what we have and for now the forecast says 24 degrees that day. Seems like great weather to hang out with friends and look at vintage snowmobiles.

We still could use a few more Bucket Raffle items. If you have a connection with a local business owner reach out to them it’s great visibility for their business and is also great for the club.

Thanks to all current members for getting your memberships in even without opening trails in our system. Currently, we have just over 200 new or renewed members. Of those approximately 129 are Family, and 79 are Single memberships.

The January meeting will be held on Monday, January 2nd , 7:00 pm at the clubhouse at 408 Fond du Lac Street Mt. Calvary WI.

Mother Nature got our hopes up this past week but in the end the storm didn’t produce and most of what fell is on the fence lines or in our driveways. The forecasted warm weather will put us almost back to step 1 in the next 10 days. We will just have to let it play out.

The annual Sno Bol Winter Fundraiser is coming fast, Saturday February 4th. The raffle tickets are sold out and now we need to get ready for the show. At the January meeting we will be discussing logistics and getting staffing assignments set up.

Bucket Raffle donations are still needed so please reach out to local businesses you know and see if they are interested in donating and bring the items to the clubhouse. Please make sure they are labeled so we know where they come from.

The online membership program has been operational for a few months and other than a few glitches it has been working well. Get your memberships renewed to avoid the last minute rush that comes once the trails open.

The January Fond du Lac County Snowmobile Association meeting will be on Tuesday January 10 at the Party Palace in Dotyville.
