The February meeting will be held on Monday, February 1st, 7:30 pm at the clubhouse at 408 Fond du Lac Street Mt. Calvary WI.

The annual Snobol Winter Vintage show will be Saturday February 6th at Kiekhaefer Park in St Peter. The show and raffle are our major fundraising event for the year and the success of the day hinges on participation from the members. We will need help with parking, bartending and food service. Please contact Darrin at 920-273-9601 or Rob at 920-517-0266 to get signed up to help.

Raffle ticket sales have been very strong and we look to be in good shape for the raffle. If you have any unsold tickets you don’t think you will be selling, please bring them to the meeting or get them to Dean or Darrin. We don’t want to end up with too many on the day of the show. Kudos to everyone who brought in a bucket raffle, we have a good number of them but could always use a few more.

The “Holy Roller” has been built and is out rolling the trails. This roller will help us with establishing a base earlier because it can go out in reduced snow conditions that we do not want to send a groomer out in. Hours spent on the trail will qualify as grooming hours for the club. This project went from a vote at the last meeting to allocate the funds to a working unit in just 2 weeks. Thank you to all the members who worked in the design, procurement of materials and construction and a special thanks to David Bertram who welcomed the project into his shop and turned our ideas into reality. Check out the Holyland Facebook page for photos and video of the roller in action. https://www.facebook.com/Holyland-Snowflyers-335045384894/www.holylandsnowflyers.com

The February Fond du Lac County Snowmobile Association meeting is on Tuesday February 9th at Mel’s Bar and Grill in Brandon.

Current club membership totals are a total of 207 members. Of those, 197 are family members, 64 are single members and 8 are secondary members. Thanks to all you members for your continued strong support of our club.
Also, the AWSC has updated their membership website to eliminate the cost to both the AWSC and the local clubs by now emailing membership cards to members. This took effect only recently. See attached explanation of how their updated system works.
