I hope you all had a safe and enjoyable summer. Fall is right around the corner and it’s time to start talking snowmobile trails again.
Attached is the newly updated news letter with membership application form at the bottom.
The September meeting will be held on Monday, September 12th, 7:00 pm at the clubhouse at 408 Fond du Lac Street Mt. Calvary WI.
We did have a few projects happening this summer. We purchased a different disc for field leveling and have some maintenance we will need to do to it before it hits the trail. We also have a bridge re-decking project that will be happening in September on the Johnsburg system. Anyone interested in helping out can contact Dean or Brian Davison.
We have received our full contract amount from the county and financially we are in great shape. At the September meeting we will be discussing our finances for the season and deciding how much we can pay down our loan balance on the tractor.
As you can see below we have a new look to our membership application and we also have a new membership coordinator. Alexus Berndt is in charge of memberships and is our liaison with the AWSC.
We are close to having our online membership portal working on the website and hope to having it going in the next few weeks.
The May meeting will be held on Monday, May 2nd, 7:00 pm at the clubhouse at 408 Fond du Lac Street Mt. Calvary WI.
At the May meeting we would like to discuss the 21-22 season and go over a few changes we would like to implement for next year.
We came into this season with a long list of things we wanted to get done and some new to us pieces of equipment that we needed to invest some time into to get them set up the way we wanted them to be. We got all that work done and we should be proud of our accomplishments every time we walk into that building and look around. The only thing we didn’t get done was to ride our snowmobiles in Fond du Lac county this year – maybe next year!
The April 11th landowner dinner was another success with approximately 100 landowners or guest attending. We are working hard to keep our landowners happy who are the key to the success of trail system, and this is one of the ways to accomplish that task.
This will be the last meeting of the season and I would like to thank all of the members, directors and officers for their efforts this year.
Please remember to patronize our generous sponsors who play a huge part in our continued success every season.
Have a great summer!
The April meeting will be held on Monday, April 4th, 7:00 pm at the clubhouse at 408 Fond du Lac Street Mt. Calvary WI.

April is trail teardown month please be sure to record your hours and get them turned in when you are done. Keep an eye on the condition of your signs and get a list of replacements to Gary so you will be ready for next year.
March was a busy month we completed our funding applications for 2 pieces of trail. The trail between Eden Grill/Citgo in Peebles and Kiekhaefer Park is 2.7 miles long and is our last eligible club trail that we can seek funding for and we are hopeful this year we can secure it. The second application is for 5.5 miles of the Plank Road Trail that parallels Hwy 23 between county highways W and UU. This will be over 8 miles of new funded trail for the club.
The April Fond du Lac County Snowmobile association meeting will be on Tuesday April 12 at Marghaels in Van Dyne 7:30 pm.
The March meeting will be held on Monday, March 7th , 7:00 pm at the clubhouse at 408 Fond du Lac Street Mt. Calvary WI.
I would like to thank all of the members and sponsors that helped make our 2022 Sno Bol Vintage Show a huge success. Even without the trails open we still had a huge turnout and it was great to see people getting out and enjoying the outdoors.
Holyland members invested many hours into the set-up, operation and clean up and we should all be proud of our accomplishments.
We are fortunate to have the generous sponsors that continue to support us every year. They play a key role in the success of the show and we are grateful for their donations.
At the March meeting we will be planning the Landowner Appreciation Dinner. I would ask the directors to think about any landowner changes we had this season to make sure we get invites to all of our Landowner partners.
We ended our season with 219 club members. We definitely appreciate everyone’s support of the club on the bad snow years as well as the good snow years! Thank You!

Raffle ticket sales have been very strong and we look to be in good shape for the raffle. If you have any unsold tickets you don’t think you will be selling please get them to Dean or Darrin. Give them a call to let them know how many unsold you have and how to get them delivered before the show. Kudos to everyone who brought in a bucket raffle we have a good number of them but could always use a few more.

The 2021 Safety class is ongoing and we had 33 students enrolled this year. Thanks to Ben Costello and Zach Kiehnau for their time spent instructing the next generation of riders.
The used Trailmaster drag we purchased is back from blast and paint and it looks great with its shiny orange paint. Ledgeview Coatings was great to work with and being snowmobile enthusiasts like us they donated a significant amount of the cost of the project. We really got a deal on this work and if you see an opportunity to send any blasting or paint work their way please don’t hesitate to return the favor.
I would also like to mention the significant amount of time spent on this drag by Holyland members getting it ready to go to paint and reassembling all the moving parts when they came back. The majority of the work was done by Val Thome, Gary Stenz and Dennis Haensgen who donated numerous hours in the shop to this project and deserve to be recognized for their efforts. Thanks Guys.

Based on past years numbers, we should have about another 50 memberships coming that will be needing memberships in order to get their discounted Trail Passes for this season.
During the month of September we will be delivering pizza’s to the 160+ landowners as a token of thanks for the use of their land for the club’s 70 miles of trails we maintain.
