The Landowner Dinner was again a big success, Thanks to everyone that helped with the event. I really believe nights like this help us to build strong relationships with our Landowners and if problems arise on the trail solutions will be easier to work out. We are guests on their land. I know all of us know that it’s the people who don’t understand that that worry me.
Here are a few thoughts on the season.
We only had ridable trails for a week but in my opinion, it was the best trail conditions we have ever seen in the Holyland.
We always watch for ways to make a few improvements to our trail system and this year we had some really nice things that were done. If we do a little every year to make our trails smoother and safer it really adds up.
When our snow all melted and the Sno Bol was going to be the Mud Bol we dug in and turned a disaster into a huge success by transforming our clubhouse and parking lot into what we were told was one of the best vintage shows of the season. We should all be proud of what we did that day.
We will be participating in the summer parades in Marytown and Mt Calvary so keep an eye out for information on the Whats App for information as we get closer. All are welcome to help out.

The invites have been sent out for the 2024 Landowner Dinner which will be held on Monday April 8th at the clubhouse. We are looking for a few people to help fry the brats and burgers on Monday afternoon. If interested contact Dean.
Our own Ben Costello has accepted the position of Fond du Lac County Snowmobile Association AWSC representative. In his new position Ben will attend various AWSC functions throughout the year and be the voice of our county within the organization as well as bring information about what is happening elsewhere in Wisconsin back to us here. Congratulations Ben.
Attention Directors – If you have any signs that are in rough shape and will need to be replaced let us know at the April meeting so new signs can be ordered.

The 2024 Sno Bol Vintage Show was a HUGE success for the club. The weather was perfect, and a great time was had by all.
I was impressed with the way we were able to transform our building into what we needed for the show in 8 days. It took a lot of work and we all dug in and made it happen. Good Job!

The February meeting will be held on Monday, February 5th, 7:00 pm at the clubhouse at 408 Fond du Lac Street Mt. Calvary WI.
Due to the weather 2024 Sno Bol Vintage Show will be moved to our Clubhouse in Mt Calvary. Registration and bucket raffles will be in the meeting room and food and beverage will be in the shop area.
The vintage show will be in the parking lot. We have made arrangements for off site parking of trucks and trailers and will be shuttling people back to the show.

We had one week of the best trail conditions that Eastern Wisconsin has ever seen and now its gone. Kudos to the members who got out in the groomers early and often which I feel made the Holyland trail system one of the best in our part of the state. When you have perfect snow with skilled operators on good equipment you can really make something nice.

The January meeting will be held on Monday, January 8th, 7:00 pm at the clubhouse at 408 Fond du Lac Street, Mt. Calvary WI.
We still have time, it's only early January. That’s what I keep telling myself and I hope I am right. We have the trails setup, leveling is done and all the equipment is ready to go. We just need the snow.
Membership renewals are down this year and I understand we have no snow. But please remember that the club puts in countless hours getting ready for the season and your support is appreciated and needed to be ready when the snow comes.
“The show must go on.” The club has been busy getting ready for the 2024 Sno Bol Vintage Show on Saturday February 3rd. If the ground is frozen, we will be having the show as planned. If things are muddy, we may have to change our plan. Please watch our Facebook page for updates. We need volunteers for the show to help with food service- please contact Rob or Darrin to get into a time slot that works for you. Your help is greatly appreciated.
We have room for more Bucket Raffle donations. If you know a local business or organization that would be interested in donating, please ask them, and bring the items to the clubhouse. Bucket raffles are great for us and great advertising for the businesses that donates the items.

The Snowmobile Safety Class is officially in session. Thanks to instructors Ben and Zach for continuing to groom the next generations of riders by teaching them the safety rules of the trail and respect for the Landowners who allow us to set up the trail. Good Job Guys.
Directors - Now that deer hunting is over it is time to get going on trail set up. Please contact your landowners and discuss any crops we need to avoid for this season. The tractor, disc and crusher are hooked up and available.

Last weekend the Holyland Snowflyers partnered with the Malone Heritage Museum to operate the Brat stand at the Little Farmer. Thanks to all who volunteered to help the weather was great and the stand was busy.

The May meeting will be the last of the season. We will be discussing the winter season in review and make some notes on things we want to do different next year.
The 2023 Landowner dinner was a great success. It is always time well spent visiting with the Landowners. We received many compliments on the new menu this year.
We are looking at a few cosmetic improvements to the exterior our building this year. We will be discussing this at the meeting.
I would like to thank all the Directors and Members for their time spent this season on trails, equipment maintenance and fundraising. We are a unique group of people and should be proud of our accomplishments.
